I love my parents with all my heart but sometimes in the past I didn't like them. Parents are human, that are very special in our lives, they nurture us, love us, care for us, feed us and teach us, but they are not always right. Everyone is entitled to make mistakes. However, I feel that some parents, including mine, have in the past, lost their perspective on what their responsibilities toward their children were suppose to be. And although they may love their children, the can be selfish and spiteful and hurtful. In saying this, I have gotten so mad at my parents that I felt as though I hated them but in long run and especially in my heart, I love them and always will.
Look to your parents for guidance but remember you will ultimately make the decisions in your life and if you fail, hopefully your parents will be there to pick you up and put you back on track.
Yes, I love my parents and now that mine are getting on in years, 81 my dad and 80 my mom, I love them even more because I know their time is short, so I will treasure every moment with them.

Mine are dead. It's still hard to remember only the good things, but I try.

There is nothing wrong with you feeling you don't love your parents if they have given you reason not to love them.

If they have been good to you and you don't love them, then it's likely something is wrong with you. If that is the case with you, I'd suggest you speak to a trusted adult and see if you can get some counseling to see why you feel that way.

I do. Very much. And I love the 2000 mile distance between us.
It is difficult to heal an unhappy childhood. There is nothing wrong with not feeling love when it has not been given to you. Don't count it out just yet though. Speak to them first. Try to understand that the reason they do (insert something you hate here) is because they haven't learned any better in their own lifetimes. Yet.
You don't have to love your parents. Please try to forgive them, though. It's better for you in the long run.

I love my parents very very much, i would be lost without them,
well I mean if your parents abused you and beat you and all that bad stuff then i can see you not loving them, but other hten that there is not reason not to lvoe your parents. they brought you into this world, cloted you, feed you, gave you a roof above your head, and if you don't then i think you need to go and get some help maybe talk to a shrink or something

I love my parents, but they aren't perfect. They've done a lot for me, and I am greatful. However I do realize that I have many hang-ups because they weren't ready to have me.

Sometimes someone's best isn't enough. Although you may like them as people, you may not see them as great parents. Unknowingly, they can hurt us more than anyone else.

To not love one's parents indicates some sort of issue that you hold against them. To sometimes dislike them, disagree and what not is normal.

I love my Dad, he is my best friend. We talk, go places together, and have drinks. We talk on the phone or IM everyday. My Husband and him get along very well together.

I lost my Mom three years ago on Dec 18th and I miss her very much. I loved her with all my heart and I still hurt since she passed away.

My Parents are/were very good people.

It's not that you hate your parents you think you do but how can you hate someone that gave you life? I think them giving you life if your gift. And just be thankful. Love them both equally. No matter how unfair they are.
