Since Mahmud Ahmadinedad is the head of the snake, it only stands to reason that his time will come. Better sooner that later.

Yes, it IS a War on Terror!

Probably not, unless someone tripped in his head. Not worth the risk to fight iran. The US may win the initial fight, but losses will be great as iran's military capability is much more prepared for such a conflict than Iraq's. In the long run, the US will faced the same problems it is facing in Iraq and Afghanistan now. More ever, the US military are stretched thin globally, thus rendering a additional fight too risky.

Yup
* We need a strong and intelligent President who will fight terrorism. But Bush has not done a good job and we need to point this out.
* Bush stopped chasing Osama Bin Laden and went after his old enemy Saddam Hussein who had nothing to do with 9/11.
* Bush has not paid enough attention to port security, diplomacy, nuclear non-proliferation or other security issues that leave us vulnerable.
* Bush's clumsy and aggressive policy of war and torture in the Muslim world inflames hatred against the United States and breeds more terrorists.
* Iraq was relatively peaceful in 2003 but is now a haven for terrorists including al Qaeda. Car bombings are a daily occurrence and the entire country is spiraling out of control.
* Bush has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on the war in Iraq that could have been spent fighting terrorism.

Why does everyone call what we are in a war? Bush got up on that ship and proclaimed victory. We were supposed to be in the post war reconstruction but funny how that worked out...

I hope to heck Iran isn't next, but it stands to reason that some group will go crazy and start something they can't finish.

First things first. The banner claiming "Mission Accomplished" was already in place and was there for the ship, not the President. They had finished their deployment.

To the question asked. I can only give what my thoughts are. Ideally, this is the scenario I would hope to see. Iraq's Democratic government is successfully set up and gaining strength. The neighboring countries citizenship sees the benefits gained and become restless, causing internal troubles for their oppressive leadership. One by one, they begin rising in revolution against their governments, Iraq could very well (if things go right) aid these people in wresting control. The "Domino Theory" we hoped for in SE Asia could very well become a reality in the ME.

Tok called it right.
