Yes. Just don't allow your walk with God to diminish. In other words, don't ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus, then turn around and live a sinful lifestyle...

No --- But if you do that and the other things that Jesus taught in the Bible, It does give you the prospect of everlasting life.
Jesus said: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3) In saying this, Jesus was not being boastful. The Scriptures repeatedly emphasize the need for accurate knowledge of Christ. (Ephesians 4:13; Colossians 2:2; 2 Peter 1:8; 2:20) “To [Jesus Christ] all the prophets bear witness,” noted the apostle Peter. (Acts 10:43) And the apostle Paul wrote: “Carefully concealed in [Jesus] are all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.” (Colossians 2:3) Paul even said that all of Jehovah’s promises come true because of Jesus. (2 Corinthians 1:20) So Jesus Christ is the very key to the knowledge of God. Our knowledge of Jesus must be free of any distortions as to his nature and as to his role in God’s arrangement.

If you say a prayer saying that your sins were against him and your sorry and that you will start living for him no matter what, you would go to heaven!
Good Luck and God Bless

Yes, When one accepts Jesus it must be from the heart not just from the lips. Even as a Christian you will sin. But that is why you walk daily with the Lord, to be continually forgiven.

God is the judge. He blesses who he blesses. Bible says we are saved by His Grace through our faith. And Faith comes by hearing the word of God.
Some Christians say you must also be baptized to remove your sins, Act 2:38, "Repent and be baptized everyone one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins"
And the word Baptism means immersion in water. So sprinkled as a baby does not count-you cannot believe or repent and it is a forced act. I really do not know if one MUST be baptized for salvation but I know bible says to do it...so I did.
All sin and fall short of God's glory so do not be afraid. But Jesus also told those he healed to go and sin no more. So in my opinion after studying the bible for over 20 years, I think you must believe Jesus is God's son, died on the cross for our sins and rose again, you must repent and ask God's mercy for your sins, and you should be "baptized into Christ", and grow in his love. Jesus said if you love me, you'll obey me. So learn, grow in your faith, pray, and rely on God to help you from sinning...
Remember the most important commandments? Love God and love you neighbor as yourself-Everything else falls under these!
God bless you dear

Good faith and good works are what will guarantee you a place in His kingdom. Sinning is a daily occurrence. Repentance should be daily as well. It is an ongoing battle, but one that is WELL worth the Eternal Reward. I hope my answer helps.

That's the claim. Some of the worst people I know are "religious" and go to church every Sunday. I think they use it as a loophole.

Absolutely.....However, salvation can be lost. That is, if you go back into a life of sin and never repent for them......Its over for you.
