We Yanks call that a TSU2000. You could certainly pay $300 - $700 USD to have your $200 USD Pronto professionally programmed.

I recommend getting familiar with the website RemoteCentral.com. They have answers to all your questions with the forums dedicated exclusively to your remote “Phillips Pronto Classic.”

The simplest way to program macros is with multiple commands with (one-tenth second) delays between the commands. NOT the Macro Groups section in ProntoEdit. An example for a generic Macro “Off” command would look like -

(B) TV Codes – PWR OFF
(D) 0.1 Sec
(D) 0.1 Sec
(B)Preamp OFF
(D) 0.1 Sec
(D) 0.1 Sec
(C) Receiver OFF
(D) 0.1 Sec
(D) 0.1 Sec
(K) Lights – ALL OFF

I realized after typing all that - it’s complicated. Read the RemoteCentral forums and download Complete Files to examine user’s creativity. You have an amazing remote that is fun to program.

Enjoy.

My advice is if you bought a phillips pronto you should open your wallet and have it professionally programmed. With macros usually timing functions is involved and that makes this more complicated. Moreover a good custom home theater installer is factory trained on such products so they know exactly what and how to do. Programming will probably range from $300-700 depending on the job.
