I have been wondering if god approves bc pills, etc. I am a christian, I know that abortion is a sin, but what about bc? I read on a web site that while on the pills an egg can actually fertilize, but before it attaches to the uterus and grow it is expelled during mensturation. Do you think it is o.k. to take it? Will god be mad?

BC is used before a life(the baby) is formed, its not killing anything or anyone. So,its not wrong or a sin, abortion is totally different with BC because its already is a life waiting to be born.
If a couple is not ready yet with a baby in their life, then, taking BC is the best solution,no point having someone that you are not ready for.

Birth control is considered a form of "abortion" (that sounds a bit extreme, but to a smaller extent its true)
I'm not sure if god would be mad? Would you feel bad taking them?

I think the pill prevents fertilization. In that case, I'm sure God wouldn't object. He doesn't want us to have a lot of kids we can't afford either.

I am not against contraception and I don't believe the Bible is either. But I don't like using drugs, simply because sooner or later we find out there are dangers attached to these drugs.

There is no such thing as a god, so go right ahead and use birth control and if it fails, abortion is OK too. Religion just wants you to breed so they can increase total numbers relative to other religions, which doesn't do the planet much good. Any reason NOT to have a kid is a valid reason.

I personally think that birth control pills are o.k.
They are not always used just to prevent pregnancy.

well in Islam we are allowed to use birth control for spacing out children and if the woman has a medical problem where pregnancy would harm.
but to use birth control to set a limit on how many children you have is not allowed

maybe you shouldn't be having sex before you're married if you're wondering if god would be mad at you? isn't that the christian way to be? if you don't have sex, then you don't have to take pills.
