i asked a girl out that i liked last week and we both agreed to go to the movies sat night. sat afternoon she cancled on me and said she her mom wanted to go christmas shopping. I can understand.
so tomorow what should i say to her? Should i ask her out again?

A good rule of thumb is to give it three tries. Ie, if you ask a girl out three times and each time she turns you down claiming that she can't because she needs to do something else (and doesn't suggest another time that you two can get together) then you should give it up and figure she's not interested (because even if she did have things come up all three times, after three times she would suggest something of her own).

Sure! Ask again! Just put the ball in her court. Tell her you would still like to see a movie with her and set up a time and day.

Yes you should ask her out again. Maybe you should talk to her and tell her you would like to go out with her again. But before you make all the plans, make sure she is not busy on that date. Try to be nice and be you, don't try to be anyone you are not.

It sounds like she prefers shopping over seeing a movie.
Ask her if she would like to go out with you to Christmas shop. I'll bet she doesn't back out of that date!
Tell her you would like her to come with you to help pick out a gift or two.
Also, tell her you would love to see what kinds of things SHE likes. She'll be thrilled at the idea of your possibly getting her a gift. Also tell her that you'll be buying lunch too.
That would be a fun date for ANY girl!
There is NO way she'll want to weasle out of that.
