Why do Christians send a lot of "Abuse reports"?

Question

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but I have noticed that their is a tendancy among some of the Christian user to record "Thumbs down" or to "Report abuse" when anyone offers an opinion contary to their belifs. I am not making a sweeping generalistaion and dpn't mean to offend (plesae don't get me suspended again). I would just like to know why this is; do you not believe in freedom of speach? Are you beliefs incapable of surving scrutiny or ridicule? Whay are some Christains so sensitive?

I know it is Christains as Reports are more likely to come from there than anywhere else on the site.

You also only have to read some of the bile they type in their replies to know that some have anger issues (see "Hello" below)

Christians have silenced freedom of speech for centuries, they have since the bible was invented by the council of nicea, why should 2006 and beyond be any different?

I'm a Christian and report only when it's over the edge. Two recent examples are the other day when some person put up an avatar containing homosexual pornographic avatars and called themselves "Jesus is Lord" I did report as it was plain vulgar. The other was somebody blatantly being disrespectful titling a post "F-U-C-K Jesus and spewing hatred. Intellectual debates are always welcome, ridicule as you state above is just plain ignorant regardless of ones beliefs. In saying this, remember that the one who posted the pornographic avatar as well as people like "Mrs. Stepford" claim to be Christians but are far from so be careful in whom you pinpoint.

As an atheist, I have to say that you are making a great assumption. While it makes sense to think that anti-Christian comments would receive thumbs down from Christians, there is no way of knowing that for sure. Other people may also think the answer is unworthy.

Don't feel too badly. I am a Christian and was reported by a Catholic for quoting the Bible. This person not only cannot face Biblical truths, but had to call me a name as well.

The last time I checked the rules nobody knew who reported who..when did that change..is there now a list that says "Christians who give thumbs downs on answers and report things"..I need to look harder because I swear..I have been over this site and I haven't seen that...Get a life..If you don't want to be reported don't break TOS..Unless the ? or answer is VERY vulgar I don't report anything..Everybody is entitled to their own opinion even if I don't agree..

I think anyone who threatens to kill a whole group of people should be reported. Do you not read some of the evil remarks people have made. It is the same mentality of Hitler with the Jews
