If a guy did this what do you think it means?

I got in my bf's car the other day with him and on the passenger's seat was a book to a jewelry store. I feel like he wanted me to see that book. He knew I was coming to sit down on the seat and he left it there until I opened the door. Then today when he was checking his email he made a comment "Oh Zales sent me an email 20% to 50% off". I know I am the only one he is buying a present for this year because his mom past away this year and his family isn't doing xmas, just to hard. But he told me that he wants to get me something. So my question is, is he trying to get me to look at jewerly or give him some hints or am I thinking to much?? LOL Like most women do....lol

That sounds like a hint to me.He might want to see a reaction .Maybe it's to propose and the last thing a man wants is 2 b turned down n maybe he is waiting to see how u react.U could always bring it up by saying those where some beautiful rings in that book the other day.U know him best an if u guys have been talking about marriage or even a promise ring or it could be just a gift but only u would know what he means and only u can find out.Well good luck n i hope he proposes 2 u n if he does an early congrats bye 4 now.

I would take it as a hint, he is asking for a little guidance in his own way.

well i think he does want to get u jewelry so i think u should drop hints like for a diamond bracelet maybe..........well hope this helps

it cant hurt to let him know if you like something --- even if he is not hinting a gentle suggestion from you may provide a stimulus to him
