It does not matter since they will not melt suddenly. It will take years. You might want to sell that beachfront property now though, before the market price drops due to the land being under water in a few years.

Higher than about 50 feet above sea level. Although Death Valley is below sea level but I doubt that the ocean will make it over the mountains.

As high as you can be! If you want to be still on the planet then Mount Everest will be the place to be. If not, then try to be on a space shuttle in mid air or on the international space station.
