Get a big round curling brush, with your hair wet go section by section and curl it to your scalp pulling it tight as you blow dry the exposed part. It takes FOREVER but theats how you do it. It helps to touch up with a ceramic flat iron. They have new ones out that will dry your hair as you straighten with them, and the ceramic ones aren't supposed to dry out your hair as much.

Most def round brush. You should almost completely dry your hair before attempting to round brush your hair, Never roll the brush all the way from the end to the root, start at the root and roll down, you will get volume and a little flip at the end from a round brush, not complete curls, to see how its done go to a salon and ask for a style, not an up-do just a straight style with volume, ask them to use a round brush they will do what you want, that's how they make money, make sure when you make your appt you ask for someone who can use a round brush well, its a talent not many new stylist can do well, due to the over use of flat iron=laziness. But you can still use your straightener, just don't put it on the most extreme heat setting, if you don't have a temp control on it, you can get pretty cheap ones for 15 bucks, make sure its ceramic.

You need to get a very big roller brush and roll your hair and pull while blow drying. It wont be pin straight but it does look a lot better than straightening. Also if you put some straightening cream in your hair while blowdrying it will come out striaghter and smoother.

Straightening it,once you straighten your hair the warmth is going on on your hair in view which you're touching it with the straightener yet with a blow dryer all that's touching you is the nice and cozy air like wind dealing with your hair

Attach a little piece on it that looks like a pick. It gets your hair really straight. Add very little Nexxus Humectress. This prevents the damage from the Heat.

well depending on how curly your hair is you might be able to try a straightning serum like frizzease or some kind of straoghtner that is especially made for just using a blowdryer then make sure that you take your time and do sections of your hair it takes time
