I am 14 and i am a pretty decent guy. I treat everyone nicely and i'm not usually that mean. I can't seem to get a good gf andif i do, she turns out to be on drugs or something. When i go out with someone, i am FULLY devoted to them and i thought that that was a good ting...is it? I am decent looking, and i'm not all that goody 2shoes, but i'm not all that clean cut either. Should i change? i need advice.....

No don't change yourself! Their is someone for everyone! If you are happy with your self stay that way I am 15 you just started high school there are plenty of girls there !

Well, first off I will say something you probably don't want to hear..but trust me....it matters. You have only just entered your teens..and, unfortunatly, this is just the beginning of a long long life full of many questions in this area. Don't spend too much time wishing you had a long term relationship. If you meet or know a girl you really like...focus more on becoming her friend first. If she just don't seem interested..then move on. The thing to remember is don't waste time on something or someone that makes you feel inadequate. If you just chill..and try to become friends, then the next step will be easier. And if you ask someone older, they will tell you that most lasting relationships started with friendship. And "yes" being fully devoted is definatly a good thing. Please do not change...Respect others....Respect yourself..and it will come back to you. Good Luck

Sometimes in your teens, it seems like the bad boys get all the girls... however, when it comes to later in life when girls want to settle down with someone, suddenly the bad boys arent so popular and the nice fun boys are.
Stick to who you are. Being devoted is great, but remember when your 14 your still young so keep things fun!!

Colin - 1st thing - you are only 14!!!! I don't think you should be dating yet....but anyway - be patient. Focus on your studies and getting good grades. Are you the kind of guy that is annoying? Relax a bit and have fun with the girl you are with. Are you really touchy feely? Ease up and just be yourself. You have your whole life to date.

dont change for anyone. stay the way u r. if they dont like u, that is their problem....a lot of girls say they want guys that r clean cut and decent and nice, but once they go out with one, they feel its too much to handle! its not u...im sure u have a wonderful personality...stay the way u r....if they dont like u, they r the ones that need to change!

i would not suggest that you...'change'.. because u seem like a really nice guy, but as a girl, knowing my own guy drama and hearing all my friends' guy drama, i'm learning day by day that girls kind of go for guys that are a S S holes sometimes.. i kno, it sounds stupid but it's true.. we are attracted to having a chase.. a guy that isn't all pretty boy and nice, there needs to be a challenge because a girl needs to be captivated and be like "i WANT him real bad".. so basically, don't seem so available that's basically what u need to do.. girls need to see that you flirt with a lot of girls, then they can be like "hmm i think i want him to flirt with ME not her" ya know

NOOOO!!! do not change yourself at all! all of the qualities you listed are great in a guy. besides, if you change to try and attract people, you will attract people for the lifestyle you are pretending to have, not you.

At your age.......I think you shud live a little more, and grow a lot more. If you can't maintain a good relationship with either sex, I wud think you are tryin' to get into the swim too dang soon
