I've had this awful random cough for months! I sometimes cough to a point where I'm weezing. It's not hard for me to breathe or anything its just a pain in the @$$ cough. I went to the doctor, she checked me and said it was allergies so i went and got an allergy profile blood test. It came back NORMAL!!! So then doc says that it's most likely seasonal allergies and that doesn't show up on a test.

I also got a chest x-ray just in case. Anybody know what's going on with me?

You really should go to an allergy doctor who specializes in allergies. To just tell you that you have a cough due to allergies and doing nothing is not beneficial for your quality of life. The allergy doctor will evaluate your symptoms and will prescribe the correct medications so that you can get the asthma under control. Asthma, and it does sound as if you have it because of the wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath, can get worse if not aggressively treated. When that happens you may start having attacks which can cause you to miss work by being too ill or if serious enough, you can end up in the emergency room or admitted to the hospital. It can be a life threatening condition. I have had this all of my life, and I have been to many doctors and found that an allergy doctor is the best for this illness. And one more thing, the allergy doctor will test you for allergies, and I have had this done to find out exactly what I was allergic to.

It could be asthma that is triggered by allergies causing the weezing cough. I have asthma so I get a weezing cough from time to time.
