there are two air pumps on the trans skid plate on the drivers side. the reason the light is just blinking is that there is no air going to the lockers actuator, and the sensor that see if the locker is locked or not see that its not. you should get with another person and one person try to engauge the locker while the other checks the pumps. sand could have gotten in the pump and damaged it considering
it could fit in your hand. if your not sure still which pump is which you can go to a local jeep dealer and ask for a picture with a description, since i think your problem is the pump. if your lucky a hose just came loose.

Well since it is run off the same air pump as the front I would think it hit something at the beach and an air line got hit and pulled off. If you are not familiar with the way it is hosed and wired, a manual or a trip to the shop is due. A quick look under the rear may show the issue. Wait a mechanic looking over my shoulder believes there are tow pumps. look at fuses, and slide under it to take a look at the hub.
Good Luck

choose for the Detroit or an ABR. the only crappy factor touching directly to the ABR however is the air device which you're able to set up with it. fairly in al, i might heavily recomend a Lock precise Locker. they're perfict, its an open diff locker yet they artwork super and there the main inexpensive locker, I even have used a Detroit and that i've got used a Lock precise, they the two do an identical dang factor, the Lock precise is basically much extra fee-effective. you're able to might desire to purchase an Open case yet you might have been given one at randy's ring and pinion for type of 60 dollars and then the berrings are like 15 to 20 dollars at your interior of reach section keep. yet while your bent on spending all that money )seven-hundred to 800 dollars), choose for the detroit.
