It's basically the breed of chicken. The color of the chicken's egg does not affect flavor or cooking in any way. It's just pigmentation.

well it depends on the breed of hen, they produce different eggs, like some of my hens produce brown, white, blue and speckled,, to me the speckled and brown eggs taste better
