Huh, I notice people right away start using the word "Mexicans" like all illegals are Mexicans. There's plenty of Asian illegals too. But in answer to your question, illegal immigrants will eventually receive amnesty, and that o.k. if they meet the requirements.

I believe that some illigal immigrants should recieve amnesty and some shouldn't. Remeber, many of these people have come to America searching for a better life, and all they get is a comparion to a criminal or the terroists at 9/11. Just so you know, not all illegal immigrants are terroists!

Yes. Many of the illegal immigrants came here when they were small children or infants. Sending them back to a country that they do not know is cruel. If believing this makes me a bleeding heart then so be it. Grant them amnesty and have them pay taxes.

No. Being in the country illegally is a crime. And if we gave amnesty to illegal immigrants, we would have to give amnesty to those in jails and prisons, because we don't want to play favorites, now do we?
EDIT:
In responce to your e-mail..
Prisoners may still have rights, but they are being punished for crimes that they did, and as such, their rights are limited because they are in the states custody.
You never said illegals with good records on your question, and even then that still doesn't change anything on my answer. How are you going to determine which illegal has a good record? and with your question asking if illegals should be given amnesty or not, you can't deport an illegal with a bad record and give all of the other illegals amnesty because then you would still be discriminating.

Pretend you were a law abiding immigrant waiting for chance to become a US citizen, passed all background checks, have gotten a sponsor, etc. Then a truckload of unknown persons, who could be wanted criminals or terrorists or carrying plague for all anyone knows, gets amnesty, just because they were sneaky and broke the law. Pres. Dwight Eisenhower did deport all the illegals they could find, the official government operation name started with "w" but yahoo doesn't allow that word. I want to know who is coming into our country, what they are going to do for us to make all of our lives and country a better place. Doubling the costs of prisons, law enforcement, health, education and welfare costs in L.A. county alone is NOT a good thing, or demanding we speak their language. The people Mexico encourage most to leave are their criminal element, if only one in a thousand is a dangerous criminal, but thousands cross the border every day, we have a problem. And since just the talk of "amnesty" began more have been coming because they heard they will be granted "amnesty". Give me a half their paycheck to make up for my loss of work to illegals taking the construction and landscaping jobs away from me and maybe I'd think about it.

No. There are ways to immigrate legally. Immigration laws were set up and to give an illegal immigrant amnesty would make these laws useless.

No I don't think amnesty is the answer to the problem.it only creates more problems and many more illegal aliens as in did with the last amnesty. The costs of amnesty,in the long run, would be more than the cost of systematic deportation after sealing our nations borders.
We live in the here and now not the then and was .This is 2007 almost I live in this century. Its not about race its about the law and the problems brought with the "people looking for a better life". I intend to maintain my own better life and I don't want my tax dollars paying for the illegal aliens "better life"

I'd have to say no. The reason is that they have knowingly broken laws, in most cases not just one time, the first law broken is being here illegally, but next came fake ID's, stolen or fake SS cards. So we must not reward law breakers, and there is no way to break the law just a little bit. If the only law they broke was crossing the border i'd have most likely said yes.
