Also how do you find out if you are a Waloon or Flemish belgian heritage?

The US 1920 and 1930 census records show several families with the surname Euclide. I checked out six of them and four state that they are French Canadian (which is not really a nationality - it just means that the people lived in the French-speaking part of Canada at some time in the past). The other two state that they are Belgian.

I also found an online family tree at Ancestry.com. The places of origin for these people were Meux, Namur, Belgium and Namur, Namur, Belgium.

Namur is in the region inhabited by French-speaking Walloons. See the link below.

Sounds Greek to me but don't count on it. My mom's folks have a very Greek name but they came to the US from Germany. I don't think there's a simple answer to your second question. Lots of migrations and boundary changes over the centuries.

'Euclid' was a famous Greek author on geometry, so I guess 'Euclide' is Greek as well.
