I just answered a question about the end of the world, what are the signs. Someone said that an antichrist will be born.
Does this mean a devil child like in 'the omen' or somekind of monster thingy?
Just looking for some knowledge, lol, so no silly answers please!

Nostradamus believed that "a man from the middle east, who wares a blue turban," will be one of the anti-Christ. That man is Bin Ladin. It makes sense to me.

As I remember from various comments on the Book of Revelation, the Antichrist will be a regular human being, except with a great ambition to rule the world. At a certain point, he will put together a world government (ancient texts say empire) and then he will proclaim himself as Christ and God and ask everyone on the planet to worship him. Of course, he will get the power and everything with the help of satan.
The name of the Antichrist should be capitalized so as to distinguish him from all the antichrists from past, present and future, that is people of authority who deny Christ, persecute Christians and have themselves worshipped as gods (or proclaim some false religion). Examples: some Roman emperors, Stalin and other communists (I suppose fascists were too busy with the Jews), some Moslem governments in countries where there is no historical Christian population.

He's not a monster thingy and the Antichrists have existed since John's time. It apostate false religion.
1Jo 2:18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.
1Jo 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

The Antichrist will be a person who epitomizes all that is evil, and he will be readily received by an evil world. See 2 Thes 2:3-12 and Rev 13. The "spirit of the Antichrist" is already here. They are false teachers who pretend to be Christians and wo lure weak members away from Christ. Finally, just before the world ends, one great Antichrist will arise.

The anti-christ (which simply refers to that which goes against, denies or opposes the Christ) existed in the first century.
1 John 2:18 and 2 John 7 indicates that the antiChrist is made up of many people.
The anti Christ existed in the first century. This is made plain by 1 John 4:3 and again 1 John 2:18.
The anti Christ denies Christ (1 John 2:22)
The antichrist sprang from the first century congregation (1 John 2:18,19)
The anti-christ is also the nations that oppose Christ as king of Gods kingdom and falsely claim that role for themselves (Compare Psalm 2:2 with Matthew 24:24)

I wish I tagged the islamic site I once saw. They had the best understanding of him.
His truth will be lies and his lies will be truth.
He will be like the apple and try to feed you perverse knowledge. It will appear to be like truth due to his capability which will show a severe test of wills and faiths. Consider if it was to happen how hard it would be for people as most ignore such subjects. However experince is influence good or bad.
