I'm six foot tall and have a son that is about 2.5 foot, every time I go to the supermarket and put him in the trolly in the wee kid sitting bit at the front I find he is exactly the correct hight and to kick me in the nuts. Is this just a freaky high combination or are other dads affected. On average i get kicked once every 10 minutes so i dont go shopping very much.

LOL, sorry to hear about your nuts, at 5 foot 6 inches I don't get this problem, Ive finally found an advantage to being short..

That's funny....Sorry about your nuts though. How about wearing a cup? You can put your kid in soft booties since he's not walking anyway? Or both. Might not solve anything but may at least minimize the damage.

You are not the only one - I too have suffered this spooky coincidence in height / trolley alignment.

You can sit him to one side (in the trolleys with 2 seats) and push the trolley to one side shielding your nads. Failing that, tie his laces to the trolley!

I usually find letting him put the shopping in the trolley in return for not kicking usually works (althoug you may want to put the eggs in yourself)

Thats highly inconvenient. Might i suggest you wear a cup? Or let the missus do the shopping.

Put it to your advantage.. count how many times he kicks you while you are in the store and then you will know how long you've been shopping.

I feel your pain dude!!!!!!!!!!! make yer kidz walk. thats what i do. By the way having a vasectomy makes the shopping trolley cluster kick seem really tame! Believe me , i know!!!!!!!!

it's a conspiracy by the shop owner's to stop men doin the shoppiing because we are less likely to impulse buy or buy a load of **** things you will never use

why don't you just pull the cart from the front? You can still watch your son and shop too...
