If you think he's joking play along tell him you accept and ask him to set a date! You will find out what he means. If he's really just joking then no harm done. If he wants something more than friends this might give him the courage to step the relationship up!

Take it as a compliment!! He likes so many things about you that he wants you in his life forever...he probably doesn't really want to marry you..he just really admires you or thinks you have lots of the same things in you that he is looking for in a girlfriend.
Who knows maybe he has a secret crush on you and wants to take it to the "next level"--next time he says "will you marry me?" Ask him if he is serious or if he has something he would like to talk about regarding that subject. It will either put an end to the proposals or lead you to the answer you are looking for.
Count yourself lucky to have such an admiring friend!

He's probably just asking you to see what reaction you will give him so he can plan if he really wants to ask you or Some people tease around with it all the time saying i wanna marry you or will you marry me, just joking.

I'd guess he wants to be more than friends but is too shy to tell you. Or doesn't want to come out and say it because a fear of rejection. Sounds like he's feeling the situation out trying to get your reaction.

kids are getting married too soon in life if you ask my opinion....me an my buddy at work talk about it...he's 21 ok?...now if he asks a chick on a date or just talks to them or whatever he finds out theyre already married or engaged or at least have serious relationships...ok heres the question...does that make my friend "over the hill"?..(I always bug him about that lmao..)..

Who knows. Say yes one time and see what he says. Then you can tell if he is joking or not. But of course you would be "joking" on your end, but then you will know if he is serious or what.

he is interested in you and is trying to feel you out on what you might say......what your response would be. to see if he can pursue it any further. if your interested play along with him and toss him a few hints yourself and if not say stop asking me because if i decide to marry someone it wont be you....we are just friends and that is as far as it is going............
