Admiralboy, I've just went to that site, it's outdated. However I did watch a more recent episode of 30 days when a Christian guy lives in an Islamic community for a month and it said it's growing and has already grown to 1.5 billion and I know Christianity is between 1-2 billion people.

Its 1.6 billion Muslims. But they sure are on the rise.
Most of the converts are christians.
They convert because of the following main reasons.
1. ONE Perfect God, who is indivisible.
2. Direct access to God. Don't have to go through anyone else. Its a matter between you and God. God, The Forgiving.
3. Muslims believe in Jesus (peace be upon him) and consider as one of the mightiest messengers of God. They believe in this virgin birth and all his miracles. He was, however, not the Son of God. God has no partners. Creation cannot be compared to the Creator. Worship the Creator, not the creation.
4. No one is superioir to other except because of their deeds. A rich is not superior to the poor, white has no priority over the black. Every person's measure of success and stature is what they do in this world, how they behave with others, how God conscious they are.
5. Islam gives solution, a perfect solution for major problems in the society. For example, every able muslims should give 2.5% of their annual income in charity to the poor and the needy. Do you think poverty would remain in this world if every able person gave 2.5% of their annual income to the poor?

It isn't. Many are leaving Islam for Christ, because of new religious freedoms in some areas. Jesus loves Muslims sooo much. He shed His Own Blood for the remission of their sins too.
On the other side, because if they leave the faith, it could mean the death sentence. Then of Course, if a Christian is accused of oppressing their faith in Islam, then their church is burned or they are killed. So it is easier, sometimes to submit to Islam, because of intimidation.
This is the reason Christians are fading away in Palistine. Lebanon also used to have a strong Christian population, but now persecution is increased against them. Also Hesbollah just assassinated a Minister (Christian) in their Government. Hesbollah (Islamic terrorists) are trying to overthrow their Government leaders.
I still know Hesbollah will get defeated. People have to recognize they are Islamic terrorists supplied by Syria & Iran. Those rockets shooting into Israel are not shot by militants, etc. They are shot by terrorists because they are aiming at civilians.

Because people can relate to the Quran it's teachings and the truth of the Islamic religion.

Islam's population is estimated at no more than 1.3 billion. Sorry, but you've got about the population of South America left to go before you can use the "two billion" word.

Because of Ted Haggard and the likes of him driving away Christians away to groups that would most welcome them. Also, because Muslims who want out are threatened with their lives. Sorry, it's what I've read from responses in this site.

Because anyone who opens up the Qur'an and reads it and tries to understand it with a open mind, almost always ends up being mesmerized and amazed by its message and then reverting to it. Islam is a religion of peace, tolerance and love.
Even though you may find messages of hate about Islam everywhere you look, you may be amazed how many people regularly convert to it!

I think it is because of two reasons
1. muslims dont follow family planning, they always think children are gift from god.
2. Islam is captivating. I dont know if captivating religion makes a true religion, thats a different story anyway.
