She might be out of control because a)she is happy to see you, b) she doesnt get out to play enough, so she takes it out on you, or c) its in her blood to be hyper and unless you find a way to train her really well, she'll keep this up. My suggestion is to first play while having your dog work hard, like swimming, and if that doesnt work, buy a book and try and train her yourself. Either way, though, i would suggest you get her at least partiailly trained before you start on her yourself.

Firmly without yelling tell your dog "no bite" when she attempts to bite you. You also can substitute at toy or bone for your hand when she bites. I taught my 12 week old Bichonpoo "no bite" and "switch" when I gave her a substitute to what she was biting. Now at 4 months she understands these commands and I have almost no problem with biting and chewing. As for her being hyper you are going to have to find another obedience class that meets on an alternative day. Obedience classes are invaluable not just for the commands the dog learns but the socialization with the other dogs and their owners in the class.

I would find another training class, ask you vet and read, read, read. I do behavioral consults and this is a very common problem with small breeds. I would especially recommend the a book by Jan Fennell called The Dog Listener.
Sound like she is dominate and you need to send her the right signals that you both are the pack leaders.
I have listed another GREAT site for folks with these types of issues!
YOU CAN DO IT!

Find a different trainer, training class or in home trainer. Try www.apdt.com She is probably not getting enough of the proper exercise/stimulation. Training also teaches you how to behave to make her a better dog. If you do not get this behavior under control now, it will probably worsen and be harder to train out of her.

terriers are high energy. you need to make more time to train and exercise her. she is probably spoiled and has the run of the house, and the rules are probably not very well defined if she is out of control. there are a variety of different places to seek training, check out more places. petco and petsmart offer training, and there are plenty of places that come to you in your home. the commitments that come with having a dog include having the time to address the needs and requirements of that animal.

You need to separate her and have some alone time. That way there are no distractions. Then you walk her for about 1 hour, so you drain all her energy out and he is concentrated on you

try when she bites you to put lemon juice in her mouth.calm her down by treating her like a dog setting limits for her and reward with treats.i punish my dog which is alot bigger then yours with a newspaper and a firm voice and dont baby her in just a minute after the punishment.many ppl dont like to use them but try a muzzle when she bites

first of all, she is a puppy right? she is going to have alot of energy for a while. when she bites you, tell her in a firm way, "No". if it doesn't work, i will tell you this way, which is what my father did to our dogs. it sounds harsh, but.... my father bit our dog back. its not really cruelty, but they also need to know what it feels like. it Honest to God works... if you do it hard enough the first time. i know you may not want to bite your dog, but they bite you!
