Is it right for a girl in 12th grade to date a guy in 9th? I know people do it anyways, but tell me if you would or not and explain why. Thanks.

I know girls who have, but me personally...if I felt like I liked him I might. The only thing I would be iffy about is having the feeling that people were talking about me behind my back, or even to my face, like "Oh my gosh! She's going out with a freshman! What a loser!" And think about what would happen after high school. There isn't really any point to it in my opinion, but then again, whatever floats your boat! ^_^ Good luck!

I'd say 2 years below at the most is my limit

I would not EVER date a guy that was more than 2 months younger than me! EVER!! Ok, but you want a reason right? Here it is: Maturity. Generally, guys that are younger than you (me in this case) are way less mature. They don't know how to take care of a girl. They can't possibly understand emotions (at least the ones exhibited by a girl) although most men have trouble understanding that too. lol Anyway, a freshman wouldn't even be able to drive you to a date!! Plus, don't you think its a bit weird? I mean, the kid's three years (at least) younger than you!!

Like you said... If I was a "senior (female) in high school", I would only date a "freshman (male)" if any one of the following is true:

1.) I was in LOVE with him,

2.) The guy is the HOTTEST guy in the whole High School, and

3.) Because I just WANT to.

Clearly, if your asking this question, then you most likely WOULD date this guy; at the end, its your decision and you shouldn't let others influence it........ Hope this helps, Take care.

I personally would not, when you think about being a 17-18 yr old dating a boy who is still 14-15 it seems wrong mostly because guys are going through puberty at that age and they are very immature still.

guys are really immature for their age.
so when their a freshman they act like their in 5th grade.
and when their a senior they act like a freshman. haha

so normally girls date up because girls are more mature.
if i were to date a guy 4 years younger than me i'd feel like im babysitting or chaperoning a date the whole time.

it'd feel awkward.

but if you like him, then go for it.

He might want to yet he might want to get in huge legal worry too. perfect to attend, or a minimum of make sensible it doesn't get sexual till the sophmore is eighteen. inspite of the actuality that if the lady does no longer document it, a jealous pal of the lady might want to...
