first of all, don't take offense at some of the mindless answers you'll no doubt get to that question.

The Bible shows there is a God because only God could predict the future with 100% accuracy. The Bible is full of fulfilled prophecies, 300 alone were about Jesus Christ, and they were written hundreds of years before they happened.

The only possible correct chonology of creation. Each one could not have existed without the one before it existing first.

Things the writers wrote about that the people of that day did not understand, such as, the world is a sphere.

The tabernacle was a physical picture of how man gets to God....the gate, the sacrifice, the cleansing, Moving into the Holy Place was the candlestick that represented the Holy Spirit, the shewbread that represented fellowship with God, the incense that represent prayers to God, then moving into the Holy of Holies was the Arc of the Covenant and the Mercy Seat that held the 10 Commandments, the jar of manna, and Aaron's rod. All of these things show the complete picture of salvation through Jesus Christ and how to reach God, something that the tabernacle builders did not understand, nor did Moses, the one who received the info from God on how to build it and all it's exact measurements. Now, spiritually we go through all these steps... Jesus fulfilled all these steps. He is the gate, the sacrifice, we are cleansed by his blood, etc. It could not have been mere coincidence that they got every single thing about salvation right with the foreshadowing of the tabernacle when they had no understanding of it, except for the fact that God told them everything to do.

That's all I can think of for now. Good luck with your paper!!

certainly, you're able to desire to alter your wording in undemanding terms a splash: Hebrew Bible Roman Catholic Bible Protestant Bible The Jewish pupils finished the version of the Hebrew Bible in touching directly to the 0.33 century. That text cloth is risk-free in the two the RC and Prot. Bible. The order of the books is diverse, because of the fact of underlying assumptions. The Christian Bible (the recent testomony) wasn't fairly nailed down till almost the 10th century or so. After that, it replaced into locked in. This replaced into performed in a chain of Church Councils. this text is an identical in the two the RC and Prot. Bible, and the old testomony is particularly plenty an identical in the two of those Bibles, different than that the order may well be slightly diverse. the only distinction between the RC and Prot. Bibles is the presence of the Apocrypha -- numerous books that have been unknown in Hebrew, yet have been risk-free immediately in Greek language translations of the old testomony that have been in time-honored use around the time of the early Church. That Greek translation of the old testomony (referred to as the Septuagint) replaced into so time-honored (maximum Jews did not at that factor remember the thank you to speak or examine Hebrew anymore) that whenever you come across the old testomony quoted interior the recent testomony, it fairly is often the Septuagint text cloth they're quoting.

Let me tell you this part of a story:

In prison, I had many interesting conversations. One was with the Catholic priest, who said that I was being taught twisted things and that people could make the Bible say whatever they wanted. To prove his assertion, he said he would show me that the Bible states that there is no God. I accepted his offer. He opened his Bible to the book of Psalms and positioned his hand so that his index finger would cover part of the verse. I said: “Please move your finger so that I can read the entire verse.” He answered: “Just read below my finger.” I did so, and to my amazement it said: “There is no God.” “There,” he said, “that proves it. There is no God!” Again I asked to see the entire verse. This time he moved his hand. And there it said: “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.”—Psalm 14:1, King James Version.

-----------------

Hebrews 3: 4 Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God.

--------------------
A straightforward discussion of the evidences that the Bible is inspired of God may be helpful. What clearly proves to you that the Bible is from Jehovah God? Is it what the Bible itself says as to its origin? Or is it the fact that the Bible contains numerous prophecies reflecting detailed knowledge of the future, prophecies that must have come from a superhuman source? (2 Peter 1:20, 21) Is it perhaps that the Bible displays wonderful internal harmony, although written down by 40 men over a period of some 1,600 years? Or its scientific accuracy in contrast with other writings from those times? Or the candor of its writers? Or its preservation in the face of vicious efforts to destroy it? Whatever you have personally found to be impressive can also be used to help other people.

There's a little segment in the section where Abraham wrestles with God in Genesis where he asks God who he is. The answer is I am who I am.

There's one.

There's the eviction of Adam and Eve from the garden of eden. That's two.

There's the Noah story wherein God promises not to flood the earth anymore. There's three.

Hope that helps... I know there are New Testament stories about this too but they're not as easy to think of.

Uhh... 1. Research on your own, and 2. the Bible shows that there is a God in the book of Exodus, where Moses was used by God. I believe this IS scientifically possible...

(Isaiah 44:6-to-10) Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

(Isa 44:7) And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

(Isa 44:8) Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

(Isa 44:9) They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

(Isa 44:10) Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

The Bible doesn't show that there is a god. It just claims there's one. It offers no real evidence to support that claim.
