This did happen once many years ago, not in a club but on a London dance floor.
We must have spent an hour or more dancing and talking between dances. I remember she asked me a couple of times if I thought she looked nice. Then she excuses herself, goes to the Ladies, and, on returning, slips a paper into my jacket pocket asking me to read it when alone. It went something like this:
"My husband's away in Ireland. I want you. (followed by her tel. no.)".
Quite frankly, until then I didn't know she was married, and did not take up her offer as I didn't want to get involved in such a relationship.
But, to answer your question, it DID make my night. It was the first time a woman had actually made a sexual overture at me, and I was quite thrilled about it. It was the first time I learnt that sexual approaches happened in both directions.
This happened in 1969 or 70. I was about 21. She couldn't have been more than 25 or 26, and quite a decent-looker too. I can still vaguely recall her in her long sleeved mini.
Oh, well! These things happen.
