I believe in God and I believe that He wants us to know HIM. Believing He is something He is not, is not believing in HIM. I dont think its possible that God can be every god that people choose to worship, simply because the concepts are so different. I think that if someone is not willing to get to know who He is, He will not accept them into His house.

Dear Andrea,

No, I do not believe there is one true religion because all religion is man-made.

I DO believe there is one true Relationship with the awesome uncreated Creator of the univserse and that is divinely-provided through Jesus Christ and only through Jesus Christ.

The Bible shows very clearly that mankind separated itself from the Creator eternally but that Creator provided a Way to make Redemption possible. God does not want a single person to be lost but people remain lost until they accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior.

Without Jesus noone can win.
With Jesus noone can lose.

I would imagine the one true religion today would need to be patterned after it's original model.
I'm not familiar with other world religions, but I imagine the true christian church would need to be patterned after the church of Christ when he was alive. That is, it should have a living prophet and apostles, revelation, prophecies, miracles, priesthood authority from God (not a degree earned through some university) etc.
In the case of world relgions, I believe the same would apply.
I believe there is one true religion. If not by name, certainly by behaviors, beliefs, doctrines, ordinances, and laws. To not have a set course by which to follow a path for the betterment of mankind, would not seem to make sense. (i.e. How could for one religion marraige be essential for salvation and exhaltation, but for another it be an abhorrence?)

No. I believe there are a lot of partly true, most false religions. It's not the religion, but how a person incorporates it into their life and if their religion inspires them to treat their fellow man with love and respect or bigotry and hate.

In the beginning, the Jews were the first of God's People. They started out small religious group, almost a cult compared to other beliefs of the time Their beliefs were different than everyone else. They believed in one God, and separated themselves from others because they believed themselves to be the chosen. But, as predicted, they fell away from God's teaching, finding them to be overly restrictive and lacking any fun.

Next came Christians, the second to be considered God's People. They started out small religious group, almost a cult compared to the beliefs of their brethren Jews. Their beliefs were different in that they believed the Messiah had come, they that they had separated themselves from others because they believed themselves to be the chosen. But, as predicted, they fell away from God's teaching, finding them to be overly restrictive and lacking any fun.

Three represents perfection in the Bible. The question now is who is the third and final manifestation of God's People. It can’t be the Jews as they have never accept Christ as the Messiah. Yes, it may say in Revelations that the Israelites will accept the Messiah in the time of the end, but as they haven’t, and considering that the very first sentence of Revelations says it is presented in symbols, than what does the stating of the Israelites symbolize?

So, perhaps it is a new Israel. A small group of Christians, considered a cult to others, whose beliefs about the Messiah are different from the body of Christians as a whole. A group that has reverted back to the ancient ways of the first congregations, using them as a example in all things. A group that doesn’t convert, but reverts people back to the ancient teachings of Christ, from before they began being distorted by the mixing of pagan beliefs.

It cannot be all Christians, as the Bible prophesied that they would fall away. Christ himself said there would be many who would claim to speak in his name. So, who are these new Israelites, who will lead the way through the new order, governed by Christ and not men? How do you figure out who they are. As for the rest, they walk the easy path, which leads to destruction. Their fate is of their own choosing, since they chose not to live their lives completely in keeping with the teachings of Christ and God. They pick and chose what they want to follow, because to do otherwise is less fun and too restrictive.

So, who is this third group?

There is One True God and that is the LORD God of the Holy Bible.

Perfect religion to the LORD God is to visit the orphans, widows, etc. and keep self from sinful living.

If religious righteousness isn't Christ Righteousness, then it is self righteousness. And they will be judged according to their works (conscience & land laws).

Nope. I think there are some great philosophies in most of the world's religions. What fool is to believe God favors only his/her way of thinking. Intellect, reason and curiosity are gifts - not curses. From our mistakes, we learn the most.

Great question.

Of course. Islam is the True and Final religion of God. Those who do not proclaim that There is no God but God and Muhammad is his messenger will be in the hellfire.
