We have taken him to the vet and they can't find what is wrong. We have tried not feeding him for a day and that still did not stop it.

We have taken him to the vet and they are not sure what is wrong. We have tried everything the vet has suggested. Even bought the really expencive food, and nothing works. I have talked to a few other vets and they have told me to -feed rice-not feed for a day- give him special food- we have had him x-rayed and we cant find anything there. We think someone has been feeding him while we are out cuz some of the stuff he did throw up at the start of this was food we had not fed him. Does anyone know if this is a sign of poisioning?

Take him back to the vet!!! I am a vet tech and this sounds like a real problem. There are several things that can cause those symptoms.
1. an intestinal blockage/ or partial blockage.
2. Kidney, liver, pancreatic disease.
3. Sometimes kennel cough can also cause them to cough and vomit white foam.
4.Inflamatory bowel disease
Please take him back to the vet, I can not stress this enough. If you are not comfortable with the same vet go somewhere else or see another doctor in the same pratice. If he is still sick and losing weight there is something seriously wrong. Dont just wait and see if he gets better. You are in charge of your dogs wellbeing. Good luck! I hope you find out what is wrong soon.

If you think someone is poisoning your dog, does that mean you let him run loose? If so, immediately stop doing that. Take your dog to a different vet. He must be feeling so weak and miserable. Ask them to do a blood test and tell them you think he was poisoned. Good luck. I hope he'll get properly treated by a good vet.

I would take your dog to another Vet since he is loosing weight and throwing up still. Somehow they seem to be missing something significant unless your dog is trying to eat frogs in the backyard or something. That will cause a dog to throw up foamy stuff.

I would take him to another vet. Apparently something is wrong with him, they need to look further. If your vet can't find the cause try someone else.

If you vet doesn't know, Answers isn't going to be able to help. Insist your vet recommend someone else. Or give us the full story.

take him back to the vet, and demand an x-ray and blood tests be done. he is very ill. He could have an obstruction in his bowels, or have eaten poison.

my dogs do that sometimes, throw up and it looks like foam. that Is their stuff. if your dog is eating grass, that means he's not feeling well, and grass helps them up chuck it out. we just let our dogs know that it's ok, and then take them for a walk. that way, he will be able to help his system.

Dogs foam at the mouth when they have rabies. I'd get him checked for that asap.
