Well, Toronto itself is a big city, so we don't really have "natural" resources in the city. Toronto has a large tourism industry and we have many theatre productions that draw people from out of town. Toronto is the home of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE), so there are a lot of financial institutions like banks here. There is a good bit of industry in general. Toronto is also the provincial capital of Ontario, and Canada's largest city. I hope this is helpful.

well, Toronto rakes in money from tourism and is the major capital for Ontario. Many people come here from many different nations across the world and settle here and build a strong economy. Many jobs are here in the Greater Toronto Area and many communities. Alberta of course has a huge oil supply (the world's 3rd or 4th largest oil reserves and wood from British Colombia but Toronto still rakes in a substantial amount of money.
