umm this was on a worksheet but I can't find to answer to it and I am having a test in science Tommorrow so I might need to know this. Thanks!

There are two states, actually
You have tiny air bubbles (usually Carbon Dioxide) trapped in the whipped cream-thats what makes it so light
YOu have the fliud, which is the cream itself with the dissolved fats, etc

NeuroProf is Right.
Whip cream is liquid and when whipped, air or CO2 is added to suspend the fatty liquids to make it light.

I would say it's closer to solid than anything else.
