Can someone tell me where people get the idea that America gives Illegals welfare?

Give me a web site, and not just one web site, give me three, cause I think you people are full of sh*t. If America is giving illegals welfare then does that not make America's homeland security even more pathetic? If people at the welfare office cannot identify illegal aliens on a computer, and cannot stop the hand outs of money to people who are not rightfully in this country... Then what is stopping another terrorist attack? The govenment is already a little picky on who they give welfare to. So if these illegals are somehow passing all these identity checks... Then the US is just a lying time bomb spreading filthy lies that we are safer since the invasion of Iraq.

I agree Sancho. The funny part is every Mexican I know in Louisiana (not sure if they're illegal or not, and don't care) seems to work long hour days. My one friend who is here on a work VISA works 8a.m. to 10 p.m. and makes about 120.00$ a week. He does have free housing which is paid for by his place of employment, but he has to live with eight other people.

FINALLY SOMEONE WITH COMMON SENSE, ILLEGALS CAN NOT APPLY FOR WELFARE, CAUSE THEY DON NOT HAVE THE RIGHT PAPERWORK TO APPLY WITH, AND EVEN IF THEY SHOW FAKE ONES, THE EMPLOYEES NOW HOW TO CATCH BAD ID'S AND DOCUMENTS, I BELIEVE AMERICA NEEDS TO BE MORE EDUCATED ABOUT THE IMMIGRATION SITUATION AND ILLEGALS, IF ANYTHING THEY GIVE MORE THAN WHAT THEY RECEIVE. Also apparently you live a secluded life because here where I live not only do illegals get welfare they rub it in our face,and if you read many of the forums here on yahoo answers,you would see that alot. And you must be well off,cause most americans cant even afford health insurance bacause to many illegals wont pay there bills.and I can go on and on,but maybe it will take you being one of the at least 12 casualties per day that are raped by illegals or one of the 12 killed by drunk driving ones? They get welfare with stolen SS numbers, and they get help from sympathizers working for social services. Everyone in the hispanic community knows about this, and if you are a case worker you would also know that this goes on for MANY immigrants who have no right to this welfare. This also happens at the DMV where lousy drivers can ask for an instructor who speaks their language, and also gives them a pass on the drivers test, even when its evident they do not know how to drive, or understand the traffic laws. If you are at all involved with any immigrant community you would know this.

Come to California sometime, take a cruise through Santa Ana, Montebello, Huntington Park, East LA. You know one person that works hard...good for you. What about the 20 million others that are here?

They are talking over all (meaning in pockets of the country), not all over the country. In the big cities or those with huge imagrint populations it is not as hard as you think. I know people who get welfare for 6 kids, yet only have two. People on SSI when nothing is wrong with them & people with cancer cant get it in small towns. They finally caught Ms (whatever her real name is cuz only god knows) after 8 years of getting welfare under 3 different names. I am glad down in beatlecreek lazyana or where ever you are from, there is not a problem with it. In chicago, new york, huston, dallas, LA, & all real cities there however is one.

where did you hear that bull crap..every where I have ever lived, they get health care, food stamps, govt housing, etc. you are the one who needs to do research not us..I know people who have applied for food stamps and have been told that they need to sell the house that they have worked all their life to buy and then they would qualify for 50 or 60.00 a month worth of food stamps..isn't that sweet...I can guarantee you if I went to Mexico or wherever, they would not give me any help.
