Yes, agree with Learner, and if your father wasn't drunk that night there wouldn't be you.

Well, there is historical record both from the Romans and from Jewish authorities of the existance man we call Jesus of Nazareth. So he did exist in the flesh. As far as the anti-psychotics, I don't think they would have done him any good, since he wasn't psychotic. They may have worked to keep him quiet for awhile and not able to spread his message, but when God wants us to do something, He generally makes sure we get it done. Maybe antipsychotics would have kept him silent until after the volitility of the times had passes, but then his message wouldn't have spread and history would have been irrevocably changed. The world as we know it simply would not be. Whether you belive that Jesus was the Son of God or not, his existance and crucifixtion shaped the events that followed, influenced the people who made our history and, thus, made our world. I thank God we never have to find out!

Jesus was a real historical figure. There are multiple historical texts that exist outside the Bible that prove such. He was a man and he was real...historians do not debate this.

As for assertion that he needed medication...I don't believe this at all. I do believe him to be the son of God, and there was nothing crazy about him.

Is your dad "really your dad"? I am very comfortable denying the legitimacy of your birth record and biological parents just as easy as your denial of a proven historical fact that Jesus was an actual living person, and I don't feel sorry for what I am saying.

You know He existed or you wouldn't be posing the question. He is an historically documented person not only through the Bible. Now to your question....His whole purpose in coming to earth was to be our blood sacrifice so that our sins could be covered and we could be saved and eventually join Him & Father God in Heaven. He willingly made that sacrifice for you on the cross. The Bible said He could have called 10,000 angels to come rescue Him from the cross. Yet he stayed there for you. I pray you seek Him as much as He seeks you.

do you think anti-psychotics existed 2000 years ago? why must he have had to be psychotic? they would have only killed the next person God sent to try and teach us. as Jesus came to die, then even if people tryed to treat him for being mad, he would have died for our sins anyway.

if people can believe he existed why can't they believe what he said
