OK, my bf wants to meet my dad, and my dad is kinda on the stern side, he sees things in black and white, on way or another. And my bf cut his hair cause my dad doesn't like long hair, but heres the catch I am not allowed to have a boyfriend, by his rules, and he doesn't know about him, I don't know if he will like him a person or not (bf), and I wonder what I should do, for him to meet my dad. Any advice?

Well, I can bet you that your dad knows about your boyfriend already, but if he doesn't then you should tell him, sure he might get pissed but its because he loves you, and just doesn't really like the fact that his "little girl" is growing up, Its just a "guy" thing if they have a daughter who is old enough to date, its a dad's worst nightmare, Tell your dad the truth, but also tell him that you are growing up, if you are, I'm not saying that you have, but if you are having sex.....I'd leave that out, and let him bring that up if he does. Do what your heart and mind tell you, I'd say tell the truth, but to each their own.

im not allowed to have a bf either, and my dad hates long hair too (very sweet of ur bf to cut his!) but anyway, if ur not allowed to have a bf, ur dad is going to wonder why ur bringing this guy to his house, and hes going to suspect something... talk to ur dad and tell him that ur responsible enough and ready to have a bf, but dont bring him to the house until uve talked to ur dad about dating

in life u gotta take risks...i suggest u tell ur dad let him meet ur b/f and see how it all works out.....the longer u keep things hidden the more difficult it will be to tell the person ur hiding it from.

Just let your dad meet him, so what if you get in trouble or anything else maybe your dad will like your boyfriend......Take a risk.....

This is idiotic. Why would you introduce your bf to your parents if you can't have one? And if you introduce your bf as a friend to your parents and they don't like him, what will you do? Dump him? There is no point in introducing them.
