ok so I see this guy I like before and after school and sometime during lunch but that doesn't really count because I don't where or who he sits with at lunch. I kinda know him from the year before last back when we were in 7th grade. 8th grade My parents made me go to a different middle school. Now we are freshmen and we go to the same high school. In 7th grade we would say Hi to each other in the hallways. That was so long ago that he probally doesn't even know I exist. The thing is I am shy when it comes to talking to people I don't know or haven't seen in a long time. I know I need to say something to him but I don't know how,seriously. All my friends came out to me first not the other way around. How can I talk to him? He is always with his friends. I'm already scared to just say Hi to him alone. It really sucks because he isn't in any of my classes so the only time I do see him is with his friends. He seemed great in 7th grade and for some reason I still like him now. Please help

I think you need to move on with your life.. that was 7th grade and if he wanted to start the friendship over again he would of talked to you by now so obviously he really isn't interested... forget him, I'm sure you'll find someone new.

Easy as pie:
Don't say anything to him when he is sitting with his buds. A quick glance and smile if he sees you is enough.
If you pass him in the hall and he is with others, give him a quick glance and a small smile, just briefly.
If you pass him and he is alone - Definitely say 'Hi' - if you are feeling bold, you can even add 'remember me from middle school?.
Then don't push it - just be willing to strike up a casual conversation if he seems open.
Just keep it real chilled when he is with buds - guys can be funny when in a pack.

no i think that you are right that now that you are in high school that you dont know what to say!!!
i think that you should just go up to him and say hi and see how he has been and tell him about how your other middle school went. like just start up any conversation and if he holds it with you than you know there is something there and if he doesnt dont let it bother you just move on.
