Why worry about what your parents have to say or do? Pick your boyfriend if you really trust him. Later on, parents will understand & get back with you again (if they are good parents, that is) - even if he turns out to abuse you, your parents should still help you out.

That depends on whos making me pick and why.....
Is he a good guy?
Do they want me to dump him because of (for example) something stupid like his race or because he's a four time murderer on death row?
Remember, they could see something you don't. They love you and want you to be with someone who deserves you.
I would most likely pick my family, because they've always been there and he might not be.

I did. And, 27 years and three children later, he is still my best friend and my family grew to love him when they saw what I saw in him...a good, honest, caring, hard-working man!
