Well, I just don't understand why "in God we trust" would be on our coins when you don't believe in God. Maybe because quite a few people do believe and trust in God. Maybe there should be two sets of coins - one for the atheist and one for the believers.
Incidentally, there have been a few stamps and coins that I didn't approve of also but I figure someone did and it doesn't bother me.

Because one secretary of the treasury was very religious and wanted to do so. It was never put to a vote and it never will be now. At least not until this current rash of irrationality dies down.

Almost all people believe in gods.
For some people, dust is their god.
For others, money is their god.
For others still, the sun is their god.
So you go and check to realize the fact.
Particularly, those people who truly seek their Creator, realize that they cannot deny the exsitence of the One True God. So 'in God we trust' is really the wish of almost all human beings.

Prove that money exists.

Seriously, most of it is no longer currency anymore. And have you ever seen the gold?

All I know is, my money is automatically added to my bank account, so to me money is basically just a number that goes up or down.

This is hard to argue, because the fact that there is a god, or no god is not able to be proven. Don't you think there has to be some god, regardless of which one?

Well, the US government is part of a satanic group called the freemasons, and they secretly praise the devil as God, so they should really say "In satan we trust" lol, bet ya neva heard that one before!
