where is the camshaft positioning sensor on a 95 toyota avalon?

I am not sure but on some of those cars it look like a distributor and on others it is a sensor on the intake but without knowing which engine you have the only thing I can suggest is for you to go to your local parts store and see if they have it or at least have a picture of it for you to look at so you can find it on your engine.
