Ask the citizens of San Bernadino, California, who wound up with an entire train load of trona (a dense, powdery, heavy substance ) in their back yard a few years back.
The problem? An engineer making his second solo trip after an "accelerated" promotion program. He blew it at the top of the hill and never had a chance.
Conductor and three civilians dead, including the fire that was caused by a ruptured pipeline during clean up operations.
The carriers can cram as much information into someones' head in as short a time possible, if they wish, but lack of experience can never be duplicated in a classroom or simulator.

I'm glad to see you conducting yourself in a yahootically correct manner this evening. You have engineered your questions almost
toot toot! well. If I take an Amtrak to visit you will it be a trascontinental trip? I'm crossing the idea back and forth across my mind, rail -y, I am. Never been to the Pacific (Railroad) coast.
Corny enough? At least I try. :-)

It's mom kicked it in the caboose after seeing it make a joint. Don't worry, it's picture is coming out on the milk cartons next week, someone will see it.
