I am 5"7 150lbs and also I am 17 years old. My dad is 6"0 and 190lbs and my mom is 5"6 148 lbs. Will I'll be short forever? Be serious and I'm really glad I am taller than my mother.

Sorry, my crystal ball is in the shop. How can you ask if you'll be short forever? No one can predict this. No one can foretell the future. It's genetically predetermined. Look at the heights of the people in your family. That's a far more reliable indicator than the wild guesses you may get here. If you like, you can run a search for "height predictor". Go to one of the websites that "predict" your height potential. And that's what it is -- potential and nothing more.

It's too bad you're placing so much importance on your height but you also need to be realistic, my friend.

Of course not don't worry . You'll probably have a growth sprut soon or maybe not. We are made from our parents genes and phyics may not want you to be a taller or shorter it's just the way some of us are built man. Okay so good luck!!!

guys grow until 19 or 20 so you still have a chance to get taller.

I have a son who is almost 20. He had a growth spurt after 18 and he is now 6'3". I would imagine you will have one more growth spurt and could be as tall as 5'9" or 5'10"...but, keep in mind, Tom Cruise is 5'7" and look at the babe he just married! :)

Good Luck!

You probably will not be as tall as your dad, but who knows?
I grew 2 inches after my 16th birthday, but some folks grow at different times.
