Been reading some of the questions left on this site.

JESUS CHRIST what is the matter with people?

What is all this:
"Doe's s/he love me"?,
"Does s/he fancy me"?,
"S/he's been texting me for 6 months asking me out on a date, Should I go out with them"?
"S/he shoved their tongue down my throat, does this mean they like/fancy me"?
"We have been flirting for ages, should I ask them out or wait till they ask me"?

What the hell is going on? I am only 40 years of age. In my day if you fancied a lass, you asked her out. It was easy, simple, you got a yes or a no. If you really fancied her you asked her again at a later time.

If a girl flirts, kisses or txts me thats she's interested in me, theres no hidden meaning, I get the message. I dont need to analyze any hidden meaning!

Why dont people just get on with it?

this is very true i think, but, also when my parents generation (my dad is about your age, slightly older actually) if you needed some advise, who could you turn to? your parents, who wants to do that, then theirs your friends, which still happens now, but now there is this website, that you can go onto and ask stuff, people are trying to get advise on there insecurities mostly on this kind of stuff, though if your reading this and you don't like it why don't you look outside of the relationships section?

"If you fancied a lass in my day"????? Are you sure your only 40yrs old? That sounds like something my grandad would say! Im 42yrs and I wouldnt talk like that! lol. Life is complex these days mate and there are a lot of younger people who use this site for advice. I've used it myself for advice. By the way, text mssgs arent always what they seem! It doesnt mean when someone says they fancy you, that they actually do! They can be p*****, on the rebound, having a joke,etc...........

LOL I think it's because all these questions are being asked by younger people, who don't have a clue how to interpret these things. I also think some of them are insecure and/or afraid of rejection, that they need someone to tell them what to do, just for reassurance.
And then there are the ones who are bored and just make this stuff up............ :)

As a 45 yr old female i totally agree that things are not the same as they were in our day. The younger generation are not so sure of themselves because of the open way in which they have relationships. It's about trust.....they dont trust so they have to ask.

My guess is that many of he people on this site are very young. So the maturity level is not quite developed, or they would not be asking questions such as these. They should not be doing or thinking of doing the things they are questioning. Just my opinion. God bless****
