Should we have listened to the warnings of Enoch Powell, Is it to late to do anything now?

Enoch Powell warned of the dangers of letting to many "immigrants" into the country.
We didn't listen, now we are being overrun. They're like cockroaches, once you get them its hard to get rid !!

You've certainly hit the nail on the head.It's surprising how many people have said about Enoch Powell,and his views on immigrants.
It has now become a state of play where everyone thinks that they can come to Britain,get free housing,free food,free health care,and demand anything they want,and get it.
Us genuine English Citizens are getting fed up with it.We are getting pushed further and further back in the queue,our needs and issues are being ignored.
These immigrants are so bloody rude,they wonder why we are becoming racist towards them.

If the BNP were to get their act together and quell the racism, extremism within the ranks, people would give them credibility more public acceptance and votes, so grow up and act like a party capable of running a country, If the Liberals can do it so can the BNP it is in the interests of conservative, New Labour and Liberal Democrats to to tar the BNP as extreme and cite Nazism as their agenda but beneath all of this the BNP have the solution to illegal immigrants within our country.

Well you have a point but i could have thought of a better way of putting it!!! Yes this country will only sustain so many people, what we should be doing is vetting the people we allow in so we get a benefit. All immigrants arnt benefit scroungers some provide additional skills to our workforce etc. The BNP is not the way forward as some on here seem to believe but yes use your vote but use it wisely and lets change things .....but dont waste it by voting for BNP their the skum!!!!

,Britain compared to the USA is a small island, and it does not take a genius to work out why Britain is the favourite port of call, but we cannot cope with the amount of immigrants flooding our country. Although i feel for the majority of genuine immigrants, my opinion is that we are getting the raw deal. When the word prejudice is mentioned we need to look at where prejudice views are directed, right now it is at the born and bred British. It is evident from discriminatory actions from the foreign culture and also,more alarming from the British government.
