You got me. All a written warning does is let you know the police will be watching you. It does not cost you a dime & does not affect your insurance. It actually is a coursity from the police. Next time give the officer a thank you for being concerned.

I don't know--I'm usually thanking the cop for NOT sticking it to me.
And my state DOES NOT record written warnings --can't imagine why any state would as it'd be a total pain.
