Falling for my best friend? HELP???

omg my best friend got dumped by his girlfriend twice!!!!! They been broken up for a couple of wks not quite a month yet though! I think he's over her. Before they went out (2-3 months ago). We were like sooo close and now that there broken up were close again all my friends say we flirt with each other all the time. I don't know if he likes me but i am like in love with him. His name is Matt. There is a dance coming up and I like really want to go with him how do I hint i want to go with him without not being to desperate. He is my best friend is it normal to like love him. How would you ask him to the dance or get him to like you 2... HELP!!!!!!!!

just ask him if he wants to go to the dance with you. no harm can come of it, and based on his reaction towards it then u might get an idea on how he feels. if it is surprised, it could mean a couple of thing, 1 could b that he wasn't expecting u to make the first move, or 2 could b that he doesn't like u like that, and isn't sure why u would b asking him.........it isn't uncommon to fall for a best friend (so it is common)

Ok don't try to act like someone else for him to like you he's been your friend for a long time and I think he'll figure it out if you've changed or not. Now be yourself maybe he like you and is scared to ask you out.........for the dance that's coming up you should really ask him and be honest. If i were you i would jus ask him to go to the dance. Dont make it look like its a big deal or anything. Jus tell him that you think it would be nice for you two to do something together. Tell him that you want to take him out b/c he needs to get out and have some fun. And then go from there. If he hints that he likes you and asks you out.. then your good to go!!

OK i am in this same problem irelay like this boy and he is my bestfriend so yes it is normal dont worry.
He has a girlfriend tho and she is so jeluesand she treats him like crap but anyways
if i was u since he is singel go 4 it tell him how u feel all he can do is tell u how he feels towds u .
i wouldnt worry about this one just tell him how u feel life is about risk and this risk might turn to a blessing

TELL HIM!!! Everybody is always wondering what to do about things with ppl (me included, but that's how I've figured out not to beat around the bush) Tell it like it is and don't baby it. Just say "Hey, ya know the dance comin' up? Who are you thinkin of askin'? (if he doesn't name anyone in particular) say "Hey ya know I'd really like to go with you, but if you don't want to its cool." Just see what happens. :)
