you could ask him about the things he likes to talk about and tell him what you like to talk about and see if they overlap. You can also ask him what he things of a certain topic and maybe you can get talking that way.

ANYTHING! ^_^ Start talking about one thing and it will evolve over time. Ask him how his day was, and if he just says "fine" ask him if anything fun happened, or something like that. Ask what his favorite sport is, or who his favorite band is. Guys love talking about themselves ; ) And don't be afraid to talk to him, guys like confident girls!

music..or ask him what subject he's interested in but also make sure ur interested on the subject 2 or it'll be awkward........i think music will do cuz i mean doesn't every1 like to listen to music?...i know i do
