Funky munky just to correct you I am far from sexest I have two sisters, (one with a tattoo on her shoulder) one wife, two daughters and one grand-daugther, sexist I can't be. I just think it looks awful on exposed femail skin. I think you are trying to keep up with blokes what with jeans and all, If guys started wearing skirts you would go back to skirts also. BE YOURSELFS, we will still love you for it.

I DON'T KNOW WHY I ASKED THIS QUESTION WHEN THE ANSWER IS SO OBVIOUS !! Who in their right mind would go to a complete stranger, and be permanently disfigured for life, along with the risk of Hepatitis and other blood disorders. Putting it kindly, someone not that bright. It's as much the same as people who "self harm" the "look at me look at me" syndrome, any thlng to gain attention. Most of tats are done through "peer pressure", Sharon and Tracy have one, so I MUST have one also, guys who go out and get pi$$ed up and dare each other into it, as I said NOT THAT BRIGHT. Also the comment in one answer that about 90% of prision inmates (BOTH SEXES) have tats says it all. VERY VERY LOW MENTALITY. Bonnie K mentioned being scared, it's nothing to do with fear, just intelligence, or the lack of it on HIS/HER (probably a bit of each) behalf. who would want a G/F or wife with a tat if the tattooist has "been there" first.

I personally, and stronglly agree wth the question asker, jimmy the one, mostly in the area of so called "AR*E ANTLERS". My wife, and I and my three year old son where in a crowded lift, when chavie girl bent over to shout at her kid and revealed the full AR*E ANTLER WORKS.(NOT NICE) My son chimed up "WHY HASN'T THAT LADY WIPED HER BOTTOM PROPERLY", and do you know thats exactly what it looked like, "out of the mouths of babes etc etc". Also 87-94% of the guests in H.M. prisons sport tattoos, says a lot about their "mentality" (or lack of it). If those same "marks" where caused by burns, accidents, birth marks or skin coditions, the owners would be crying there eyes out (and rightly so) but "ART" well thats o/k then. To put it fairly crudely it look as if they have FARTED and followed through.

I don't quite understand the jeans comment. A lot of women have been wearing jeans for a long time but again am not quite sure of the point you were making here so I think I'll leave it well alone.

Basically, women and men alike have the choice to do whatever they like with their bodies and getting a tattoo (or piercing for that matter) is a pretty harmless way to express yourself. I know a number of women (and have seen on this forum) who have tatts they love which are put in discreet places so that they can enjoy them and the meaning it holds for them. Basically if you aren't attracted to women who have tatts and you are married and your wife doesn't have tattoos, I don't see the problem? Unless you are dissappointed with the quality of women you are checking out other than your wife?

As for a comment someone else made about wishing they could see what their skin will look like in 50 years.... in 50 years I will be almost 80 and I really don't think my skin is going to look fantastic whether I have tatts or not. I really wish people would think about how stupid they sound when they say "think how bad it'll look when you're old and saggy" well sorry to break it to you but old and saggy is old and saggy, tattooed or not! Find a new excuse to critisize people who CHOOSE to tattoo themselves!

So only women get 'crap' tattoos right?

What about all those stupid 'butch' flash tattoo that men get, they can look bloody awful too you know.

Although I agree that some tattoo's can look bloody awful if they are straight out of the book and/or badly done. It's about personal choice and taste. I have 6 well thought out and planned tattoos, also I am NOT a 'scissor sister' I'm sure most of, if not all, the women who have answered your question aren't either. Alfie is just an idiot without a brain spouting derogatory remarks as far as I can see.

Many of the women I know have a nice tattoo or two somewhere, some are even business women managers and the like. Saying all women who have tattoo's are trashy scissor sisters is just plain daft. The men who spout these kind of comments are just afraid of women who are individual and indepentant.

Well I agree with you on the tramp stamps and *** antlers, but tattoos in general are quite beautiful when done tastefully and by a good artist. As the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and my boyfriend finds all fifteen of my tattoos beautiful and I feel sexier than ever.
Obviously you haven't realized that for some people "being yourself" means getting tattoos and piercings.
And women wear jeans because they're comfortable and more practical than skirts.

You seriously need to grow up and stop acting so ignorant. People have tattoos for so many different reasons and yes, I'll happily say that some "sluts" do have tattoos. If they didn't have a tattoo and still showed off their **** crack though, would it be more acceptable for you?

I've got tattoo's, piercings and unnatural hair, and honestly, I couldn't care less if I looked sexy or not. I'm so comfortable and blissfully happy in my own skin so it doesn't bother me when a misogynistic fool like yourself makes comments with no basis to them apart from a pig-ignorant attitude.

"Their once nice skin" is usually still very nice. When you get a tattoo, your body isn't instantly covered in a layer of wrinkled scales. Aging happens the same with everyone, body modifications or not.

Please stop acting rediculously and get a grip of reality.

I have 4 tattoos - they are all hidden from everyday view and I do NOT have a celtic design growing out of my crack! And I'm certainly not gay! Lol!

I've a star inside each hip, a fairie on my lower back, and an angel (ok he's a bit celtic-ish) on my upper back. They all have meanings to me, but I'm not going to bother explaining them. They don't bother my boyfriend at all, he doesn't really agree with girls having tattoos as they're seen as a bit manly but he likes mine
:-)
I can promise my tattoos don't fit into your catergories, and like I said aren't on show to the general public anyway except when I'm on the beach! They're for me after all, not anybody else...

And as for piercings, I've got a few of those too (4 in left ear, 2 in right ear, 1 in nose, 1 in belly) but as far as I'm concerned piercings aren't even worth mentioning because you can take them out any time if you don't like them any more!

It's all about personal opinion isn't it. You don't like them, I do.

People always say "Oh how are you going to get a job looking like that?!"
Well I'm an Accountant and it hasn't hindered my career so far in any way. They didn't mind my nose piercing, and I had black hair when I got the job too which they obviously didn't mind either!

I'm from an older generation that tends to think too many tattoos and/or huge, cheap tattoos makes a woman look trashy. But if she wants them, it's her skin and her right.

And having said that, I'd love to get a very small tattoo -- one that has personal meaning and that's in a location that doesn't show. I'm allergic to just about everything, though, so I'm afraid I'd have problems with the inks.

That's YOUR opinion, you are one voice in the billions on Earth, so basically your opinion does not count for much does it? A person's skin is their skin, to do with what they will. Just because you find something unattractive it does not mean you are right. I have 5 tattoos and I can assure you my b/f finds them very attractive. Tattoos are very personal, and no one has a right to say whether they are right or wrong, for some cultures they are an essential part of their culture and heritage. They are not illegal anyway, so they can't be that wrong.

For pete's sake, why does it matter to you what I have on my skin? I don't care what you do with your skin, life, looks whatever. If you are not hurting me or anyone I DON'T care, it means nothing to me.

I have 5 tattoo's I got my first one when I was 22. I got my 5th one 2 weeks ago. I don't plan on getting anymore, I may add to 2 of them later down the line. All are easily hidden, all are tasteful and bright and beautiful and worth something to me, I am not gay or butch or slutty. SO again I ask what does it matter to you what I do?
I have a feeling your life ran off with a tattooed butch lesbian and now your alone and jealous..

TA TA!
