The 'nice stuff' is a lie. They worship a rape-torture-kill god who hates all of humanity.

One of the nicest people I have ever met in my life so far was not a Christian.
He was my sister in laws father. You would not find a person who would say differently about him. Unfortunately he passed away without ever having openly accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior.
What I am trying to tell you is that the mark of a Christian is not how nice they are. All Christians are a work in progress, and all will still fail, for sin has not left us alone and we are still weak to it. The mark of a Christian is belief in God and all that he has done, all that he is doing and all that he will yet do.
Some Christians have the nice part down pat most of the time and some do not. Some are very new in their walk, even if they have been a Christian for many many years. Some , like Lot of the old testament, believe but never grow strong.
I do not get mad if you do not believe in your creator, I do however feel sad and hope that someday, someway, God will call you and you will respond. I understand that you cannot come to God on your own, you must hear Gods call and then you must respond to it.

clearly you are making the mistake of grouping ALL christians together and presuming "they" are all the same
1st mistake right there - they DONT ALL get pissy if you don't believe in god...sure some might be upset, but i'm not, and i'm christian

I am a Christian and it is not that we are mad that you do not believe in God as much as we are concerned that you do not believe in God. Because we believe that God will judge you someday and if you have not repented of your sins and recieved Jesus Christ as the saviour and payment for your sins then you will spend eternity in hell. We just do not want to see that happen to anyone. I know that it is your right to believe however you want but if you believed what I believe what kind of person would you be if you did not try to tell others how to avoid hell?

Christians are not nice, at least not most of them. If they get angry, then maybe they are fed up with people not believing them, for condemning them for believing in God. Imagine if someone had critized something that you had worked very hard on. Wouldn't you get mad? People, all of us, are sinners, and we are only human. Humans get mad. Though they get pissy, they should try to tell you about God get angry.

I am christian and whatever you believe in is fine with me, cause in the bible it says love one other and treat others as you would like to be treated.
But i'd rather be a believer and find out he's not real and just be bones in the dirt, then be a non-believer and find out he's real and be dammed to hell.
Dont stereotype all christians. And I wont stereotype all athiests.
Good Luck with life and death

Because many of them can't understand why you can't believe as they do. I think it's an ego thing. For example most kids think everyone lives as they do and are shocked when they realize that isn't true. I think SOME Christians are shocked that others can't or won't believe in God.

I'm an Episcopalian with many atheist friends. They have chosen not to believe, and that's their business. I've never gotten upset with someone for having different beliefs or philosophical stances from my own. I was raised from childhood to be tolerant of others.

For me that is not why I get upset...I get upset when people don't believe but yet has to say vulgar things about God when they don't believe in the first place...I would never undermind someones thoughts or views..If you don't believe then you don't but respect that I do and have great respect for my Father..

Because we study God's word and we don't get mad, but we question why people don't believe in God. we have the right to question why people don't believe in God just as much as other people have the right to question why we believe in God.
