how do you stop programs such as psp video 9 autimatically starting up when i turn the computer on?

Go to your preferences and uncheck the box that has that option. I don't have experience with psp video 9, but most programs have an open at start up option.

click start then go to run then type
msconfig
and press enter

go to startup and un tick anything you dont want starting up.
reboot the pc to test.

NEVER EVER USE MSCONFIG
