Yes, one of my best friends. We have a very strange connection.
Our lives are almost identical:
Both of our fathers died when we were ten. He's one year older than me.
We were both raised in religious homes, but different denominations.
We have the same amount of siblings, who are within a couple of years of each other, and we're both the youngest child.
We moved to similar regions at the same ages: He to Kansas, age five; me to South Carolina. He to Arizona, age nine; me to California.
Both of us were born in the same state, and moved back at the age of eleven.
Then there's our tastes:
Same books, same movies, same music, same interests, same EVERYTHING.
As if that wasn't enough, our conversations are so strange that NO ONE can understand us because we speak in sort of half-sentences, and the other person gets what the other was trying to say.
He always knows what's going on with me, even if I don't tell him, and even from over a thousand miles away. I have the same connection with him.
Once, he told me what I was wearing from 1500 miles away, down to my panties. Oh, and I was wearing clothes he had never seen.
We have the same sense of humor (dry, sarcastic, and sometimes a little goofy and/or sadistic).
There's so much more, but it's hard to put into words.
I felt an instant connection the first time we talked. We've been friends now for ten years, though since I moved halfway across the world, he's been so PISSED at me that he's barely spoken to me when I've called. Sigh.
I still love him though. He really is my best friend, whether he likes it or not.

We each carry spirits as Christians, we hope to carry a spirit of patience, kindness, long-suffering, etc.(see fruits of the spirit). Kindred spirits connect, things between them feel comfortable, good ad "right". There are others who carry negative spirits like a Jezabel spirit or a spitit of jealousy, unforgiveness, etc.
When you meet someone whose spirit is in conflict with yours...it is a bad feeling.
I have met those carry the same spirits as i do, and it is a beautiful meeting.
