I have to answer your second question first with an amazed gasp...the sign of the devil the same as the Jewish flag?! It's this kind of bizarre belief that keeps anti-semitism alive.
First of all, it's not the Jewish flag, it's the Flag of Israel. This flag portrays a blue Star of David on a white talllit, or traditional Jewish prayer shawl. The Star of David is called the Shield of David and in short signifies the number 7, that is 6 points plus the center.
The number seven has religious significance in Judaism, e.g., the six days of Creation plus the seventh day of rest, the six working days in the week plus Shabbat, the Seven Spirits of God, as well as the Menorah in the ancient Temple, whose seven oillamps rest on three stems branching from each side of a central pole and so on.
So NO, the Flag of Israel is NOT the sign of the devil!
You're probably getting this confused with the common symbol of satanism which is an upside-down pentacle. A pentacle is a five-pointed star and symbolizes the four elements and spirit. It's a common symbol for Pagan religions which are not satanic. In satanic religions, this five-pointed star is turned upside-down.
As far as if you should experiment with satanism, whether you're Christian or not and especially since you're young, I'd really advise against experimenting with something that you're not sure about. You said that you don't want to be serious in it, so why do it? I think it will only cause you a lot of confusion and if you get mixed up with the wrong type of people while trying to see "if it truly works" you may find yourself in danger.

When you decide to get married and have a family, will you give your newborn baby a lighted match to play with? Just because the baby is curious? You are playing with fire! Be careful or you will get burned. If you want to participate in any form of satans game, you are asking for slavery, fear, bondage, and darkness. It makes me wonder if you really do know Jesus personally. If you have the best, why would you go into the trashcan and pick around.... Hex, dark arts, gothic, symbolism, ouija, tarots and all the other junk is part of Satan's Kingdom. The Bible tells me we are to resist the devil and draw near to God. I suggest you do what the Bible teaches to stay spiritually healthy and free. The Star that the satanists use is a distortion of the Israeli star. Satan loves to distort the truth. He is a liar and the father of lies, so don't believe whatever he tries to tell you or what other satanists try to convince you of the harmlessness of their faith.
If you really want power... be filled to overflowing with the power of the Holy Spirit.... not the unholy spirit of satan. Don't worship the created one... but the One who created everything!

Why ask Christians what to do? I myself have no religion. I've known people who practice Wicca, and other varios religions. Your fellow christians would have you believe that Wiccans are evil devil worshipping demon spawn from hell. However, IF you research and look at things from an objective point of view. You'll find, that Wiccans are more the tree hugging envronmenta, touchy feely people. Kinda like hippies...minus the drugs.... Anyways...Nobody I know practicing any religion worships the Devil or casts hexes on people....people claim to be this or that and that they worship satan.....but it's no different than being a serial killer and claiming to be christian. Wiccans....who are often call satan worshipers by most evangelical groups......don't even believe in satan........I'm rambling now, but I'll leave you witht his final word of advice.
Look at everything from an objective point of view. Don't take everything at face value and simply believe it because the pastor or anyone else says it. Always question authority. (respectfully)

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states: “There should not be found in you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, anyone who employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah, and on account of these detestable things Jehovah your God is driving them away from before you.”
The Scriptural advice is direct: Have nothing to do with spiritism. What if you have been sharing in some practice of spiritism and now want to break free? You can follow the example of early Christians in the city of Ephesus. When they accepted “the word of Jehovah,” the Bible says, “quite a number of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them up before everybody.” Those books were costly. They were worth 50,000 pieces of silver. (Acts 19:19, 20) Yet, Christians in Ephesus did not hesitate to destroy them.

No, the Bible tells us that we are not to practice those sorts of things, because of the evil spirits associated with them. However, I can't tell you what and what not to do. No, the sign of the devil is not the same as the "Jewish flag" (I think you mean Israeli flag).

Have you got plenty of spare time on your hands?
Do you want to go back in time to find out how, with the crafts, we managed, to get us to the present day to day living?
Maybe you would like a fresh tomato, fresh and crisp lettuce, a couple slices of bacon, between two slices of bread to appear instantly, so you can feed your hunger.
Those are the examples I wanted to appear when I was starving on the streets.
No amount of practice caused them to appear instantly, except by hiding one in my sleeve and then throwing out my arm so fast the sandwich slipped out into my hand as if by magic.
You could take Thomas Edison's advice and keep a record book of every little thing you do in preparation so when you do get something to work, like a light bulb to last 500 hours, you will have that last journal to refer to when you have succeeded. With which to share with new comers of Edison's time, to the United States, like Nikola Tesla.
A young visitor to Edison's lab asked a question, "What are all those books laying in the middle of your office about?"
Edison replied, "They are the journals that I wrote down my meticulous notes for the steps to invent something and represent the precise steps until each failed."
It took over a hundred attempts to successful create a light bulb that lasted. Mr. Edison was a tireless example of someone who worked 24/7 to create modern things that were once thought of as Black or Evil.

Why would you want to do that? Honey you have no idea what you are getting yourself into. If you leave your mind open to it then yeah really scary things will happen. Do you not realize how powerful that stuff is? Yes it works and you will soon come to regret it. It is your choice but say that you were not forewarned.

The best thing you can do is speak to your parents or Pastor and see if they can guide you in the right direction, to ask opinions on here will do NOTHING but confuse such an innocent mind...
