Hmm.. make sure your breath is not offensive 1st, yeah ,a good lipgloss is nice, one that tastes and smells pleasing. I always like to be held when kissed, this all depends on your and your BFs bodytypes , but often its akward to have you noses hit so a tilt to the side with your head helps, then pucker up and put your lips together. Try practising on your hand . Or better yet practice with a girlfriend ,make sure to post it to youtube=D ,just kidding, good luck

maybe you can wear some sort of lip gloss or something. A kiss is a million words but a kiss with flavor is gold.

Well you should just do it at a time when he least expects it, like make it spontaneous. If you guys are ever having a conversation, compliment him and then just move in and kiss him!! It will surprise him but it will be a good surprise :)

when you lean in to kiss him give him a playful Eskimo kiss before the lip kiss. and then when your kissing him lightly bit his lower lip. this drives my man crazy. ;)
