Hi Sonia... Cats do not have the proper enzymes to properly break down the sugar in milk which is called 'lactose.' You may have heard of people who are lactose-intolerant. They are also missing these digestive enzymes. If the proper enzymes are not present, the lactose remains undigested and tends to ferment in the intestine and cause diarrhea. Some pets can tolerate a little milk, others, none at all. If your pet enjoys and appears to tolerate milk, you can give your pet small amounts. Better yet, give your pet one of the special cat or dog milks on the market that have had the lactose removed.

well only once in a while like for a special treat or something but don't replace milk with water. After all milk can still give cats an upset stomach and everything even if you can is an adult.

Any milk can give cats diarrhea... some cats have more problem with it that others. I rec to most people if that want to give milk to their cats to only give a little and water it down. Your cat should enjoy it and it will e easier on his tummy. If you do ever notice any issues with loose stool in your cats hold off the milk either until it has resolved or forever depending on how frequent the problem happens.

We had a cat who got diarrhea when she had milk. There is special cat milk you can buy if your cat gets diarrhea from the milk. Although it's cheaper an better just to give your cat water.

Some cats are lactose intolerant some aren't. If your cat isn't experiencng any diarrhea after drinking the milk then its fine to give him the milk as a treat but if he is then you should discontinue giving him the milk.

Only give him a little bit. Some cats are lactose intolerant and will throw up and have diarhea after drinking any amount of milk. Just give him enough to cover the bottom of a cereal bowl and he should be fine.

Milk is bad for cats - they can't digetst it. If you must feed him dairy, feed him yogurt, which has the bacteria so it doesn't give upset tummies. You can also get kitty approved milk from the pet store.

water is better for cats, but milk can be given in moderation. Too much milk can cause problems.

It's ok unless your cat gets sick. Most cats are lactose intolerant, but the rest can enjoy milk to their hearts content! I would recommend skim milk though
