Suave has fooled alot of people. Along with Pantene, White Rain and Dove, it is very full of wax. The wax gives your hair the sain that you want and makes you think it is working. In all actuallity, it's horrible for you hair. The wax will continue to build up over time and cause weight to accumulate and in turn causing breakage. It can also cause you scalp to become quite oily. If you don't want to spend the money on salon products, there are some you can try. Aussie, Herbal Essence, Garnier Fructis and Tresseme which started out in salons. I hope this helps.

Being a licensed cosmetologist Suave is junk!!! Sorry, any over the counter product has ALOT more alcohol than any professional product. But the saying goes you pay for what you get. What did the $16 shampoo not do that it didn't work?? How long did you use it for??

I love Suave Shampoo and Conditioners. They have many different ones for different hair types. I have used them, and they do the same as the expensive Shampoos and Conditioners.

Suave really does work,it leaves my hair smelling great and soft. just make sure you don't get ripped off because in some stores it's like $1 and in others it's $3.
